About Me

Holding space for another human is one of the greatest privileges I have ever experienced. Using empathy, warmth, humor, and my life stories to connect, I work to help others sit in their truth and honor where they are in the moment.
My work with you is informed by over 15 years of working in the mental health field as a therapist. I received my doctorate of psychology in 2006 with a specialization in working with children and adolescents. During the same time, I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training certificate and all 3 levels of training in Phoenix Rising Yoga therapy. I incorporate mindfulness, breathing and meditation elements of my yoga training in my work with individuals. I have worked in hospitals, college counseling centers and in private practice and pull from a vast knowledge of well researched and understood techniques to help you move forward on your life path to not only reach your life goals but to also be a more open, vulnerable and genuine human.
In addition to my clinical experience, I am also a mom of 2 adolescents. Not to brag, but I'm the world's okayest mom, and I have the mug to prove it. I learn daily from my children and my mistakes in order to be a better parent. Creating healthy families and less stressed parents is my passion. My work with children and teens informs my coaching practice to help parents understand how to better support their children and to build a healthy foundation as a family.
Together we can create healthier individuals, families and communities. I would love to meet you. Call or email to get set up as a client and let's work together! Laughing, crying, we will experience it all, but no worries, I'm here to be with you.....TOGETHER
